When people come to Perth, they often admire the air and of course, we would just think that it was a general expression about our clear blue skies. What has become official is that Perth actually has the second cleanest air in the world, second only to Zurich, Switzerland! According to House Fresh which is a publication on air quality, Perth is the second most unlikely place in the world that you would need an air purifier. Apparently, their scientific method of measuring air quality found that Perth has 365 days a year of clean air. Only nine cities in their survey met this criteria, with six of them coming from Australia or New Zealand.
So for those wondering if there is something in the water in Perth, it's more likely what's not in the air that you are really noticing.
